Fast forward to today, I contact ASUS in hopes of a solution to this issue and they told me that I needed to purchase a network security program through them in order for this product to function correctly(one time fee of $70 for one year or $120 for lifetime). But I cannot run the program because of this initializing bug. But I started to realize that my network connection was not as strong as it was when I had the utility program open. Once closed, it was fine and I was able to connect to the internet and go on with my day. Where it was 'initializing' and would disconnect and reconnect over and over until I manually closed the utility program. I called it a night and the next day when I booted my PC I noticed that the ASUS utility for this network card was stuck in a loop.

After about 3 hours of trying to install them and nearly pulling my hair out because windows 10 thinks it has the most up-to-date drivers, even though the drivers it had where from 2015 and the one I had was from 2017 I finally gave in and retested everything and there was no more network lag spikes. After further search I found that there was a windows 10 drivers on the Asus website and downloaded them and installed them manually. But instead only supported up to windows 8. So I looked into it and found out that this adapter was not actually windows 10 ready out of the box liked it said it was. After that my cousin was playing Overwatch and was noticing that there was much more network lag spikes than usual. Once I installed it to my pc I was playing a couple of games and it seemed fine. About a month ago I purchased this adapter from Fry's.
